#216: Icons

No matter what theme/prompt/challenge I sat in front of this month, nothing happened. I really wanted to enter both of these though. monthlyinspo had a grab bag and when I ask for one, I'll make something for it! Round 20 is the final round of somein30, so I also had to enter that one. I only did five icons when my personal minimum is usually ten. Like I said, nothing worked for me this month. I'm not happy with the first five icons, but then I decided to go with the same approach as tinny which worked much better for me :D

OMG, I was so excited to see Top Gun : Maverick icons!! I think the whole set looks great! ♥ My personal favorites are 1-5. I'm probably going to snag a few. ;)

I can feel you about inspirations, this month was really hard! By the way your icons look gorgeous as usual! My favourites are 1, 2, 4, 5, 11 and 14!

Love them! 6 is my fave (can you tell?)...but in all honesty I really like this whole set! coloring, and cap on 1 is a perfect combo, light and composition on 2 and 3 is really cool, and I love the original cap, with your light/coloring work on 6-10! AWESOME!

Also I really like the colors and composition on 11 and crop on 13 :)

I hear you on not having the inspiration for any iconing atm (this is me except I did NOT have the resolve to really even try :/), but I'm so glad you still chose to enter, this is a great mini set! I'm OBSESSED with 11, the composition is sooo cool, love the 3D effect :D And 14 keeps drawing my eye too, love the tiny text, and the overall darkness mixed with some super subtle grunginess works so well, and the muted green/red is such a great combo that I don't see often.

The monthlyinspo set is awesome too, my favorites have to be 1, 4, 5 and 7!

Hee, I'm glad my weird way to tackle monthlyinspo worked for you, too! I love all the ones that were inspired by the icon, they also look like they were fun to make. I really like #1 and #4, too. (That leaf texture is so cool and so hard to use). I love the text use/animation in #5, too.

The somein30 set is also very cool. Love the coherent coloring, and the interpretation of the word in #13 (those words were so hard!). The repetition icon is awesome!

I really like alt #19, too - not only for the yellow color ;), but because it looks so dynamic, with the ball and the sun, and the way they make my eye jump between them.

I'm glad you managed to make two sets despite the initial block. Yay for a great last post of the year. <3

The psychedelic composition of 11 looks great . I also love the lighting of 6, 9 and 10. And also of 19 and 20. The pastel coloring of 20 looks very pretty.

11 and 14 are GORGEOUS, 4 is such a fantastic use of texture, and I absolutely love how bright and shiny 19 is. :D Awesome set! ♡
