Best of '22: Result

This time I was much faster posting my best of result! Before I'm starting though, I want to mention some "admin" stuff. I'm starting a new, my first full-time, job tomorrow. While I don't want to stop iconing, I can't say how frequently I will do so in the future. You know that I sometimes forget to post on here for months. So it's possible that I'm around to make icons, but it might get even quieter here. That said, I do have a bunch of icons from the Top Gun: Maverick battle that still need to be posted, but then I finished the monthlyinspo icons and figured to space them out some ;)


And now to the main event. My best of 2022 results.
The winner:


This icon got 9 votes. I'm okay with this being the winning icon. Animated icon often do pretty well in these polls and this one is decent enough I suppose.
It's followed by three icons with 6 votes each. That includes two animated icons again!



This icon got 5 votes and I definitely like it.
These icons were very close together, so I'm also including the icons that got 4 votes.

I did like the Star Wars post the last two are from ;)


My pick for 2022 is a bit of a strange one.

I saw this texture in the inspiration post, knew what I wanted to do, and it turned out exactly like that. I haven't even used it myself, but I think it turned out perfect.

I picked 16 more this time and didn't really have to narrow anything down.





There isn't any overlap between the two groups, but I'm okay with that. However, both selections include icons from the two somein30 music rounds which I both loved. The themes were very inspiring and I really liked the outcome.
I'm proud of myself for including more than one icon with text in this selection. There are three icons from this entry here. Apparently I really liked it.

I love the animated Thor one, it's such a cool effect, and the cap you picked works amazingly with this! But also I love your picked fave (I truly adore that whole set of Star Wars icons!)
