#216: Icons

No matter what theme/prompt/challenge I sat in front of this month, nothing happened. I really wanted to enter both of these though. monthlyinspo had a grab bag and when I ask for one, I'll make something for it! Round 20 is the final round of somein30, so I also had to enter that one. I only did five icons when my personal minimum is usually ten. Like I said, nothing worked for me this month. I'm not happy with the first five icons, but then I decided to go with the same approach as tinny which worked much better for me :D

Hee, I'm glad my weird way to tackle monthlyinspo worked for you, too! I love all the ones that were inspired by the icon, they also look like they were fun to make. I really like #1 and #4, too. (That leaf texture is so cool and so hard to use). I love the text use/animation in #5, too.

The somein30 set is also very cool. Love the coherent coloring, and the interpretation of the word in #13 (those words were so hard!). The repetition icon is awesome!

I really like alt #19, too - not only for the yellow color ;), but because it looks so dynamic, with the ball and the sun, and the way they make my eye jump between them.

I'm glad you managed to make two sets despite the initial block. Yay for a great last post of the year. <3
