I actually made more icons during the second half of 2024, but never got around to posting them here. Instead of unceremoniously dumping +70 icons at the end of the year, I at least wanted to make a separate post for the icons from the My Lady Jane battle. It hasn't actually been thaaaaat long since my last entry (I definitely think it has been worse before^^) and I have been making icons (as recent as July!). However, my laptop with Photoshop is on its last legs. I did actually get a new one already, but I haven't set up anything yet. The resolution is higher though, so now icons look really small...I do still have a backlog of icons I can post here. Let's start simple with just two different sections. Stock (made for stocklove_ic) and Shadow and Bone icons made for various challenges. The majority come from the battle sietepecados organized. Happy Easter! The long weekend seems like a good time to finally post the icons from the Top Gun: Maverick battle (click the link to see all icons). Big thank you to narnialover7 for hosting this awesome battle! I ended up with 13 alts, so I didn't add them to my original submission. It seemed a bit excessive lol
Style-wise these are all over the place because I really took my time with them. I started a day after the themes were posted and submitted a couple of days before the deadline. I really just made 1-2 icons per day. The format is very similar to a 20in20, so this is how I decided to post them here.

Two battles in one entry! The first one is The Witcher Season 1 battle organized (again!) by sietepecados. We all made one icon per episode (see results here). I went for a vintage theme which I think worked out well. The second one is the comedy battle organized by naginis. This one had two parts, themes and provided screencaps. To see the specific themes and everyone's icons go to this entry. I picked Galavant for the themes spontaneously (I wanted to do Brooklyn Nine-Nine first) since it fits better to The Witcher I'd say. I usually don't icon shows/movies I've never seen, so I made a rainbow with the provided caps which I actually really like. This is why I kept the one Galavant icon in that set of icons :D

I haven't really updated this community with any icons not made for specific challenges this year and this entry is no different. All but the first two of the Turn icons were made for the Period Drama Battle organized by sietepecados. You can check out everyone's pretty icons here (in opposite to me the other used a variety of fandoms^^). My icons are all over the place style-wise, but overall I'm happy with how they turned out. The Good Omens icons were made for movieslims, some of which I have already posted in January. I'm also still updating my old posts to replace the Photobucket links. It's going very slowly.

I'm running out of excuses and I have no clue why I haven't managed to post any icons yet (now I have enough for three posts already). I noticed that icons from the new host I used in my last entry sometimes won't load. For me that's even worse than the photobucket problem, especially considering that it just happens in Firefox (thanks for the info, jsfunction!). This post includes the icons from mmcbattle, hence the long inspiration list below the icon table and then there's the fact that I didn't understand the rules correctly and made some more icons which I did not submit after reading the rules again *face palm*

Okay, these are a lot more icons than I'd usually put into one post, but I really want to post them all at once to get all of the unposted icons from 2014 out here, otherwise I'll still be posting leftovers in February. And it made me realize how old some of these are, I haven't posted any of my The Blacklist icons since June o.O

I used a different host for some of these, please let me know if there are any problems! So far I've always used photobucket and was happy with it, but a couple of months ago I started having problems when I wanted to save other people's icons and though it was either my adblock or noscript until I found out I'm not the only one with this problem. While I'd prefer continue to use photbucket, it makes no sense to make it hard on people who want to save them.
