Here is what I refer to as my main set for the current somein30 challenge. It uses hard mode and I have to say that I'm rather proud of it. Not because the icons are particularly usable, but it was quite the project. Again, not even the icons itself, but finding the right subjects/screencaps, how to interpret certain songs, and make it all fit together. Since I already made a mini set for the challenge, I did take my time for this one and doesn't matter how close to the deadline I enter. That said, I did not work on it for a month after initially starting like a day after it was posted. Below the icon table is lengthy(?) write-up about the album itself and the inspiration for each icon.

Okay, these are a lot more icons than I'd usually put into one post, but I really want to post them all at once to get all of the unposted icons from 2014 out here, otherwise I'll still be posting leftovers in February. And it made me realize how old some of these are, I haven't posted any of my The Blacklist icons since June o.O

I used a different host for some of these, please let me know if there are any problems! So far I've always used photobucket and was happy with it, but a couple of months ago I started having problems when I wanted to save other people's icons and though it was either my adblock or noscript until I found out I'm not the only one with this problem. While I'd prefer continue to use photbucket, it makes no sense to make it hard on people who want to save them.

I'm back! I didn't really announce it here, but I took a mini/half break. Now I'm back, hopefully, since I don't feel very inspired at the moment, but I have a ton of stuff to post (some very old, some rather new). Something happened since my last entry, I'm now a member of tmfaction which is really exciting :D

This is my very first batch for 20inspirations! This round is called "adventures in wonderland" and we were supposed to make icons which are "unusual and surprising" meaning more experiments! So for many of these I tried to rely more on textures and be brave and do something different, I'm not sure I succeed entirely even though I like the icons I made. Since I tend to obsess over things like that, I gave myself the challenge to make 4x5 icons, using a table more similar to most 20in20 challenges, although I did regret that decision at times lol
A more detailed explanation about the specific inspiration for each icon is posted below the table. And of course even more icons, because I somehow ended up with over 100 unposted icons, again.
