Here is what I refer to as my main set for the current somein30 challenge. It uses hard mode and I have to say that I'm rather proud of it. Not because the icons are particularly usable, but it was quite the project. Again, not even the icons itself, but finding the right subjects/screencaps, how to interpret certain songs, and make it all fit together. Since I already made a mini set for the challenge, I did take my time for this one and doesn't matter how close to the deadline I enter. That said, I did not work on it for a month after initially starting like a day after it was posted. Below the icon table is lengthy(?) write-up about the album itself and the inspiration for each icon.

It's been a while since the last post because I totally thought I'd manage to make something for somein30's extra round quickly. As you can see, I wasn't successful. I've started a set, but it'll take some more time.
This entry includes mainly icons I made for stocklove-ic and movieslims. The latter is running a mixed round for WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, so there are still some WandaVision icons to come from that round at a later date. There are also a handful of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier icons from other challenges ;)

Finally, my entry for somein30. The theme "All Things Random" was absolutely amazing and super inspiring. I started right away and made 1-2 icons per day, but then kinda lost momentum and really needed that extension. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with my set. Usually I lament the fact that it does not look coherent. This time I went into the opposite direction. I thought it would fit the theme to use as many different styles/techniques as possible. That didn't quite work out, but this time I like how chaotic the overall look is. I also really wanted to use 20 different fandoms which was much easier.

The Wonder Woman icons were made for movieslims which means lots of alternates! I was the LIMS for this round which still kinda blows my mind whenever it happens. The other icons are (as always) from various contests, some going back to February.
